Christmas cards can still be sent this week, parcels next week.
Domestic parcels will reach their destination by Christmas when you send them by December 20. You can pay for a parcel online at posti.fi/send, through the OmaPosti app or at a Posti service point. You can drop off prepaid parcels at any service point or parcel locker.
Christmas cards can still be sent on Sunday, December 17, with the domestic no-value indicator stamp. The last day to send cards with the no-value indicator stamp for Christmas greetings is Wednesday, December 13. Cards need to be dropped off at a letterbox or service point by midnight.
Parcels and Christmas cards will be delivered by Christmas
There may be minor delays in mail deliveries if the political industrial actions take place December 14. We estimate that our services will return to normal quickly after the political industrial actions. Deliveries can be sent to us normally and parcels and Christmas cards will be delivered by Christmas.

Remember the correct address
When sending Christmas greetings, please make sure you have the correct address details on your cards and parcels. Each Christmas greeting should include the recipient’s first and last name, street address, building number, stairway and apartment number, and the city or municipality. You can check the correct format of street names and postal codes at posti.fi/en/zip-code-search.
When sending parcels, we recommend also including the recipient’s phone number, since they will then receive the notice of arrival more quickly. If you are missing the phone number, please purchase the Additional Paper Arrival Notification service and send your parcel by Thursday, December 14, for the recipient to get their paper notice of arrival on time.

Parcel volumes are currently high. We recommend picking up parcels quickly once they arrive to make room for others.
