Here you will find current information of Posti's deliveries and services. The political demonstration of SAK (Central Organisation of Finnish Trade Union) on February 2 and poor weather have caused some delays in postal services.
The SAK's demonstration organized has not affectedo n deliveries related to the health and safety of customers, such as blood deliveries, laboratory samples, grocery deliveries, meal deliveries and care services. They will be organized as usual.
Early-morning delivery of newspapers
The early-morning delivery of newspapers has been organized as usual in other areas of Finland, but the poor weather conditions have caused delays in Helsinki and Uusimaa region.
Posti agreed upon exceptional arrangements with publishers.
Helsingin Sanomat is available digitally free of charge. If your newspaper could not be delivered, you can pick it up from four pickup points (posti.fi/map ).

Mail delivery
The delivery of day mail has been organized as usual in most parts of the country.
According to the current estimate, the delay caused by SAK's demonstration and poor weather conditions will be 1-3 days in:

The delays concern the delivery of domestic letters, magazines, direct marketing items, and the delivery of newspapers delivered with day mail.The peak can be handled only after the weekend.Also, delays in other parts of the country are possible if the poor weather slows down the deliveries and transportations between different parts of the country.

Parcels
Online shopping's and other parcels are delivered as usual in Finland. On sparsely populated area there might be delays of parcels delivered with day mail.

The work stoppage shuts down all Finnish ports of exportation. It might have effect on the freight deliveries coming from/going to abroad.
