OpusCapita starts restructuring program

To improve the company´s productivity OpusCapita initiates a restructuring program, starting on May 3, 2018. The program aims to refocus OpusCapita´s internal resources to support continued investments in product development and further enhancement of the customer experience.

As a part of the restructuring program OpusCapita starts cooperation negotiations in each of its operating countries. According to a preliminary estimate of possible reductions, maximum of 20 positions may be affected in Finland with a similar amount in other countries altogether. The effect on the personnel will be specified as the negotiations progress. OpusCapita employes a total of 390 employees.

-  With this change, we want to ensure our competitiveness to be a trusted partner in the digital change for our customers. The new OpusCapita will focus on B2B (business-to-business) customers, and serve them with global solutions for procurement, invoice processing, cash management and product information management, says Patrik Sallner, CEO of OpusCapita.

The restructuring program will include cutting subcontracting and external operational expenses as well.

OpusCapita remains focused on its strategy to become a global leader in the Source-to-Pay market. OpusCapita has a leading Source-to-Pay suite, reference customers like IBM, Kone and Maersk, 200 million electronic transactions processed annually and dedicated teams operating in a dynamically growing market.

OpusCapita has taken the final steps to divide into two separate companies as the legal corporate reorganization came effect on May 1. OpusCapita’s operations were divided into OpusCapita Solutions and Posti Messaging which is now part of Postal Services, business group of Posti.
